Sieving is ideally undertaken just prior to use after powder recovery. Sieving the powder ensures proper flow characteristics and high quality surface finish.

The Sieve's operating range of 20-60 psi controlled by an air regulator. The sieve's vibration intensity should be set according to volume of powder sifted, condition of powder and flow rate desired. To find optimum operating pressure start sieve at approximately 20 psi and increase until powder flows steadily and evenly through the screen. Operating pressure will vary depending on screen size and powder condition.
